Townsend Bay Marine completes installation of new building.
Townsend Bay Marine, Port Townsend's premiere boat building and boat repair facility, has finished construction of a permanent temporary building and has begun expanding their operations into their new building.
At 112' x 64', the building can hold a yach up to 110' LOA. Built perpendicular to the prevailing winds and capable of withstanding gusts of up to 90 MPH, Townsend Bay Marine's new building is only the second building (both of which belong to Townsend Bay Marine) in the Port of Port Townsend able to accept a 300-ton travelift, the port's largest.
