Somerthyme

TBM extended Somerthyme's hull to the aft end of the original swimstep. This subtle change provided additional boyancy to offset the weight of Somerthyme's large engines and signifigantly improved her trim at rest and efficiency under power.

Another unique feature of this refit is that the swimstep is higher than the cockpit deck, with large scuppers draining the cockpit aft under the surface of the swimstep.

Additional work included replacing the teak in the cockpit, installing new batteries, changing the layout of the cockpit hatches, installing a new Panda generator, and rebuilding the steering system.
