10 and 2

We got to know Ross and Gail through working on their last boat, also called 10 & 2, a Skookum 53 built right here in Port Townsend that they cruised around Greenland and brought west through the Panama Canal to explore Alaska. After refitting her here Ross took her down the West Coast, through the Straits of Magellan, and up the US East Coast where he sold her and decided to have us build her replacement.

The new boat is a super-tough steel 47 footer designed by George Buehler and greatly customized by TBM. She is powered by a lugger LP 668D engine developing 105 HP. We launched her in 2006 and she's been to Alaska every summer since. Ross and Gail now have permanent moorage in Port Townsend which has become their second home away from Vermont.
