TBM: More Indoor Space and More Tall Indoor Space!

Working on the “hard” means working in rain, dust, dark, cold, and in many cases, having to go too far to pick up necessary tools or parts. It all takes time and time is money and quality of workmanship.

That’s why Townsend Bay Marine offers more indoor space and more tall indoor space than almost anywhere on western Puget Sound.

Yes, we can even work on many sailboats indoors without removing the masts.

Two of our buildings can accommodate the Port of Port Townsend's 300-ton Travelift. Our largest heated shop space can accommodate vessels up to 150-feet long. In addition to a controlled environment suitable for painting, it has two 10-ton overhead cranes for new construction or extensive refit.

At 112' x 64', the fabric-covered RUBB building can hold a yacht up to 110' LOA. Sited perpendicular to the prevailing winds and capable of withstanding gusts of up to 90 MPH it's a remarkably sheltered and efficient workspace.

Working indoors helps us contain the mess and fumes that are a necessary part of keeping your boat at her best. Good for you. Good for the planet.

More indoor space. It’s one more reason why we specialize in tricky, tough, exacting work. Come see for yourself. TBM
